THE Conventions of a number of the States having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added: And as extending the ground of public confidence in the Government, will best insure the beneficent ends of its institution

The road map for personal Liberty was written and accepted by our Founders and Framers, and ratified by our Founding generation. They did their part - they fought, bled and died to put the USS America on the proper course. As Franklin warned - '...if you can keep it.'
Not one single 'brilliant thinker' in the Liberty blogosphere has come close to offering a better path forward. The 'only' problem with the USC and BoR is that Patriots have failed to reprimand the men and women who dare to disrespect the boundaries. This has been true since Jefferson and Washington. It is compounded now by hundreds of years of ill-maintenance.
If 'We the People' are indeed the ultimate arbiters of what is - and is not - Constitutional, then we'd better start playing our role. If we do not enforce the rules against the rule-breakers - who will?
