TV Land just pulled old re-runs of Dukes of Hazzard because of the confederate flag.
This is just one more straw atop the camel's back. Let's not get hung-up on the flag, or the idiocy and lemming behaviors being demonstrated by so many people.
Here is the bottom line: Is this a country in which you are proud to live, as it is being currently governed, educated and populated?
If the answer is no - just what are we going to do about it (in detail, please) and more importantly - when would you suggest we do it?
I'm ashamed to be an American. There, I've said it. I can keep faith neither with the government which allegedly represents me, nor with the vast majority of those who claim the same nationality as I am stuck with.
ReplyDeleteWhat am I going to do about it?
I'm prepared for what's coming, and I adhere to the excellent advice -
"Have a plan to kill everyone you meet."
I'm no longer proud to be American, yeah,I'm ashamed of what out once great country has become.
ReplyDeleteVoting will not save the country-not if we want a country that has some semblance of the great country it used to be.
We voted in GOP in 2010 and 2012-what did it accomplish?
Not a damn thing-all those who claimed they would repeal Obamacare, stop NSA spying, stop amnesty, secure the border, blah blah blah-they didn't do shit.
I don't think anything short of the 100 heads plan is going to do much of anything.
Winning seats in house and senate hasn't done shit, and won't do shit no matter who is in the oval office.
D.C. is a cesspool, maybe if every senator and every congresscritter was replaced we would see changes, the way it is,everyone newly elected follows the ones already there-they only worry about themselves-not we the people.
We should be marching on D.C. we should be marching on every statehouse.
Unless/until there is massive civil disobedience nothing will change.
