I don't care if you like the Kalashnikov.
That isn't the point.
This is a milestone that marks the depth of penetration into our culture and common sense.
I can't wait until the first model features Che laser-engraved into the side. I bet it would sell...
Here's the link.
I'll take a few. My Nephews 16th Birthday is in August, I think.
ReplyDeleteI don't know about the Che-shit though.
I'll skip the Che shit too.
ReplyDeleteDid you notice that the Communist News Network had to place links to anti-gun bullshit in the article?
"The Kalashnikov USA brand is owned by RWC in Pennsylvania. The company's slogan is, "Russian heritage, American innovation."
Related: This is how easy it is to buy guns in America
http://money.cnn.com/2015/06/19/news/guns-background-checks/index.html?iid=EL
"The company was established by the original, Moscow-based Kalashnikov Concern to export its guns into the U.S. But that plan was stymied by President Obama's anti-Russian sanctions, to punish Russian businesses for President Putin's war in Ukraine."
Nice placement of propaganda huh?
American manufacturing means that tolerances will be within specs-that could be good news,or bad news. The A-K is nearly indestructable, the rifles will still shoot after being submerged in mud, buried in sand, left laying in a creek for a couple weeks, run over by cars and trucks, covered in snow, frozen into a solid block of ice on a riverbank, and whatever other torture tests you can think of.
It's not only possible,it's highly likely that the reliability, and indestructableness of the A-K is partially due to sloppy Russian manufacturing techniques in which most things are nowhere near the specified tolerances when the product comes off the assembly line.
Might have something to do with all Russian firearms manufacturing taking place near lake Baikal, where the winters are long and brutally cold. Copious amounts of Vodka are used as antifreeze for the body by more than a few Russians, which could explain the sloppy tolerances that are actually a good thing on A-K rifles,as they can be pulled out of the mud, sand,or snow, checked for obstructions in the action and barrel-and once cleared- they will fire-every time.
I'm curious to see if the A-K's made here are as indestructable as the ones made in Russia,China, and the former soviet countries of eastern Europe.
