  2. "News that Frein was carrying a handgun and a sniper rifle at the time, and gave up without a fight." According to them, he gave up "without a fight" yet, by the photo being shown everywhere, it looks like someone got a shot in, by the bloody nose. I'm sure they wanted to do worse to him but they settled on a cheap shot and securing him with the dead trooper's handcuffs. Why did he do it? We may soon find out, or we may not but there are a lot of reasons PA citizens don't like the way PA State Troopers "protect" their citizens...

  3. the fed marshals caught him "without incident". funny how when he got to the troopers barracks he was obviously beaten. somebody took their anger out on him. not condoning what he did, but the system is supposed to protect "alleged" law breakers from harm until convicted.

  4. As my buddy put in a text this morning,
"Now that Frein has been captured, the remaining Constitutional rights can be returned to the folks in PA. Now they can resume trampling them individually."

  6. Ok, I'll be the first to say it. Jury Nullification, why might you ask, to send a message to TPTB that this war will be fought any way we have to. Whether or not he is guilty or innocence, we are taking off the gloves and telling Leos there will be retribution for their actions. I do not condone Frein's actions but by Jury Nullification, our message will be heard.

    1. I don't think a jury would nullify the case simply because they would be afraid of LEO backlash. Not to mention, trying to find that many anti-government individuals in one jury would be a miracle, the lawyers would make sure of that. Good thought though, maybe after more common people are roughed up by LEOS, it might happen, but I don't think we're there yet.

    2. Miss V, tell me if I'm mistaken, but it only takes one holdout on a jury for jury notification. Is that right or is my old brain shootin' blanks again?

  7. This whole story is starting to turn suspiciously akin to a made up false flag event. Frein when captured, was showered, clean shaven and looking well fed. The Marshals said he didn't resist "the ground resisted when they slammed his head repeatedly into it." The Marshals had Dickson's handcuffs and transported Frein in the troopers patrol car. Boy this is starting to smell very bad.

  8. it's smarter to offer no resistance once you've received several head-shots from pumped-up, steroid-riddled, maniacal egotists hell-bent on your submission... my guess is that they surprised him while he was resting and planted a couple fists or a knee or 2 into his face to daze him thoroughly then roll him like a rag doll to cuff him.... he was too long at evading them for this to be routine procedure of search... they were likely as surprised to see him as he was to be knocked around in his sleep... dumb luck trumps skill once again

  9. @ Bruce Wayne. First are you asking about jury notification or jury nullification?

As far as nullification goes, I understood it to be more than one juror, but perhaps I'm wrong. One juror can be the cause of a hung jury though.

Perhaps K can clear that up for us?

My comment was based on my experiences with reporting for jury duty. They didn't like my attitude. Meh, go figure. They certainly don't want anyone who actually can do critical thinking. My belief is if you actually want to serve on a jury and as make sure justice is served according to your Constitutional belief, you have to keep your views very close to the vest.
