Attention:

A post requested by Militia allies:

Warning this is a Pro-Militia post!

My friends and countrymen... the powers of the sword are in the hands of the yeomanry of America from sixteen to sixty.

The militia of these free commonwealths, entitled and accustomed to their arms, when compared with any possible army, must be tremendous and irresistible.

Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared then, that we shall turn our arms each man against his own bosom?

Congress have no right to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birth-right of an American....

The unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or the state governments, but where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people."

Tench Coxe, delegate  to the Continental Congress in the Pennsylvania Gazette, February 20, 1788

Please continue to answer the polls at right, Patriots.  This matters.

  2. Point of fact: The Constitution actually recognizes the Militia as a pre-existent entity in its language. Congress has no authority to relegate an entity that pre-exists itself under a creation of itself, as it claims to have done in the "Militia Act of1903."

Remember, the several States created and are superior to the federal government as ratified in 1789. Therefore, the federal government has absolutely NO authority to override or nullify an entity belonging to the several States.

To cut to the chase, it's bullshit. To retiterate, the Militia belongs to the 'several States'; not the federal government. To quote someone I'd like to meet someday and have a beer with (Wirecutter), "Fuck the Feds."...

Further, for militia types out there that are claiming US Code as there source authority, any Militia (so-called) that uses 10 U.S. Code § 311 as their 'source authority' hasn't a fucking clue as to what they're about. Why? 10 U.S.Code § 311 is legislation that can be changed at the whim of whatever Congress is in session. Therefore, if a Militia uses current legislation as their authorization for existence, should Congress change that statute and order them to disband, they must obey. Can't have a cake, specify the frosting, and then eat it, too. Don't work that way.

Militias: Do the math. Understand that you have a pre-existent RIGHT to exist without bullshit congressional (US Code) approval. Or go home and make beer.

Militias do not NEED to claim a right under the Constitution to muster, train, and exist other than the SECOND FUCKING AMENDMENT to be in line with the Constitution than those that seek permission of 'law' to do what needs be done.

P.S. To those possibly taken aback, "apologies".....I get worked up sometimes... :-)

  3. LOL Trainer, now tell us how you really feel.

And I agree in full. I used to think Code § 311, was important till I did some research. Many State Constitutions that predate the National one, even codify the Militia. The Federal government as a whole has no authority over us. Which is why I laugh if someone claims we are "unlawful"... LOL Idiots.
