Sheepdogs

 

 

The sheepdog analogy always irked me, and I never was able to articulate why, even to myself.

The other day a commenter at WRSA put it to words.  I wish I had marked it so I could link, but I didn't.  So, if it was you, thank you. 

The next time someone uses the sheepdog line, remind that person that the true role of the sheepdog is to keep the inventory viable, and lead them to the shears and slaughterhouse in one piece.
