It wasn't a good area in the 70's, so I can only imagine how bad it is now.
ReplyDeleteRichmond resident's (or more likely the creditors of Richmond) are about to get screwed. The precident set up in Ct. was for the city government to steal land from one owner who wouldn't sell. This is to steal it from banks who own these properties and have the financial clout to work out a significant deal in their favor for the city to buy these depressed properties and become the defactor mortgagor to the dead beats who live there. This will end well; Hello Detroit.
