General Mattis being told to pack his bags?


USMC General Mattis is a fighting General.

We have heard reports that Generals are being purged.  We are hearing that the litmus test is "Will you fire on American Citizens".  If the answer is "No" the general gets sacked.

I have featured General Mattis on my sidebar for a year or so now.  "Be polite.  Be courteous.  But have a plan to kill everyone you meet.".

And a report at Lew Rockwell's place says Mattis is being pushed out.

    I have to say, this is a lot more worrisome than any sort of disarmament thing. Small-arms and other personal weapons aren't going to do much against tanks, attack helicopters, and aircraft carrier groups, particularly those of the most militaristic country in the world.

    Truly, it is the hearts and minds of those operating modern military hardware that is the weakest point in the armor, and a weakness that defines whether the rule of the citizens or the rule of the military is effectively the case.
