III Congress: Real 2A Fighting

These are 18 of the dead children murdered by Adam Lanza and hundreds of millions of others.

The 'Others' are all those politicians and special interest groups who advocate and impose infringements on 2A.  'Others' are every single voter who ever voted for any of those politicians.  'Others' include NRA and the other pro-2A groups that, time and again, are willing to trade a bit of our Liberty in a political deal.

I've thought for a long time this country could use a serious, real pro-2A organization with a real 'zero-tolerance' platform.   NFA and GCA and AWB and every other infringing gun law on the books are direct and treasonous attacks upon the Constitution and the Liberty of Americans.

What good would another pro-2A group do?  Get on the soapbox?  Hand out flyers?  Make speeches?  Accept dues and try to put pressure on politicians to trade away less Liberty next election cycle?  I would find another such pro-2A group to be just another circle-jerk, and a waste of my time.

So - what would you suggest a real no compromise 2A organization would do?

What could such an organization do to truly challenge the unconstitutional laws in the land?

Short of someone being willing to break a law, get raided and put in prison for 10 or 20 years, what sorts of real actions could be taken that would make such a pro-2A group better than NRA, GOA, SAF, JPFO?

Think about it.  Please don't submit any comments that are clearly illegal, like: "Let's buy a guy a CNC and make stuff in our basements for sale!"

Do you think the country is ready to test the Firearms Freedom Act in Wyoming, Montana or one of the other states that has passed the law, the way Colorado is testing the limits of pot?

Answer here, then catch up on the III Congress here.

  1. Find a good plotician candidate and set an example. If the others aren't quick studies, it shouldn't take but a couple more for them to learn.

    1. Rich, if we could convince all the gun owners to support any other candidates besides R or D, that would be a great start.
If just 5% of the population voted for somebody besides R or D, that would grab the rest of the politicians' attention.

  2. 1-hold the people currently in office to their Oath.
    2-what Rich said.
3-enforce punitive action for those that don't follow their Oath.

Is the country ready to test the FFA? I have to say their plans are being finalized, not because I have any inside info, but because my bones are talking to me, so to speak, and it's not exactly a warm conversation.

    Eyes up, Patriots.

  3. I posted this over at IIICon, and it's on topic, I think.

Taking into account how demonized the militia movement is in this country, I would expect any patriot who stepped up with that kind of offer to find himself under close scrutiny for A) Self-Identifing as a Militia member B) Wanting to be near children C) Wanting to be near children while armed.

Imagine what your first reaction would be if MS-13 volunteered to keep an eye on the local elementary school.

Apples and Oranges, I know. It's about the optics.

It is a shame that there's no corporation willing to provide professional security support to schools, gratis, during times like this.
Even a corporation formed tomorrow, dedicated to the preservation of life and liberty, might do some good.

Billy Bob in second-hand camo holding a rifle is an image that invokes a certain set of pavlovian responses in modern americans.
William Robert in a nice suit with a CCW and a good looking laminate I.D.
who works for a PMC or Security Contracting Firm invokes an entirely different set of responses.

Same guy, same objective, different optics.

Billy Bob has a lot to worry about if the government decides that his AR is a threat to the american people.

William Robert, military contractor, corporate trigger-puller, not so much.

    Something to think about.

Short Answer - Protect personal, individual 2A rights by dressing up like Blackwater and bidding on some contracts. Even if nothing comes of it, a duly registered and papered corporation that can hire its' family and friends might be a useful thing to have in a file cabinet.

Citizens are routinely ignored, but corporate officers can get meetings with congressional staffers - even if the corporation is completely unknown.

Corporations, posing as citizens (SCOTUS Citizens United) have a lot of pull. Maybe citizens posing as a corporation can achieve the same.

  4. The GOA's position:

......the Second Amendment covers any weapon that our individual infantry soldier ever carried, is carrying or will carry. Naturally, in order to repel "infantry" enemies foreign and domestic, our citizen "infantry" must have competing weapons - ergo, the Second Amendment.
