Thanks to those of you who have received your KA-BARs and given me the heads-up. The delay in delivery proves to me that our DC area mail service has been seriously impacted by the storms about 10-12 days ago.
Anyway, now that I know the KA-BAR's are hitting your mailboxes, it is time to properly thank the shop that did the work for us.
CADD Graphics, owned by David at NCRenegade. You'll remember that David and others were behind the Bank of America boycott, and he has some outstanding concepts for helping grow our community, which will be presented in the near future.
His son Chris did the work on our blades and handled the customer service aspects of our order. As I mentioned in an earlier tease, every single aspect of dealing with David & Chris was flawless.
Obviously we did not push the abilities envelope with our simple III graphic on our blades, but you can see by the top graphic and the images at their site that CADD is capable of doing first class, complex and beautiful work on your gear.
If you have been thinking about personalizing some of your gear, take your concept or artwork to Chris and have it done right. I am a big believer in personalized gear, because I subscribe to the John Hancock philosophy of letting my enemies know I stand against them in full view.
Stand up and be counted.
By the way: CADD did not do our first run of Cold Steel, but they will be doing all of our engraving in the future.
