Thank you. Didn't know about either one...

Break the obedience conditioning now or you will be severely mentally and emotionally crippled by it when action becomes necessary to survival.
ReplyDeleteAmen, DukkButt. I was re-reading your post on another site where you said, "It's even more about changing your mindset from reflexive obedience to and fear of authority."
ReplyDeleteBack in '99 through 2001, I carried concealed every day in all of my classes during nursing school (the instructors would have shit their panties if they had figured it out, and I would have been kicked out of the program, at the very least). I have driven through almost every state in the Union while CCW without permission from their various governments, including Californica and New York.
These are piddling, easy coups that I am not bragging about as much as saying it is simple to do these things if you have the right mindset. It is time to start moving to stuff that is a bit "ballsier". But even the small stuff counts if it moves you in the right direction, into the mindset that Robert Heinlein had when he said,
"I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do."
