Yep I agree. They would not be holding these talks unless something is about to happen. Indeed, the rebel forces's recent successes against Assad's forces (such as the attack on the Air Force directorate) could probebly be due to assistance from SAS or Delta Force.
ReplyDeleteAssad was a Hezbollah supporter and Iran's choir boy, but he at least had enough of a sense of self preservation to avoid declaring direct war on Israel. The new Muslim landlords will not be so lenient.
Ah to make clear to readers on what Israel would have to do with this, well, Israel is the puppet masters' actual target on this particular front.
ReplyDeleteIsrael is one of the few countries that would actually fight a war to keep its sovereignty. So islamofascists are going to be used as cannon fodder, to absorb the blows from Israeli guns, bombs, missiles and possibly nukes.
Even if the cannon fodder lose, and they almost certainly will, the violence would provide a pretext to destroy the Israeli economy through sanctions and boycotts.
While this may not seem to matter over here, the truth it, it probably will. Civil wars are mostly decided by which side has the most if any international backing (American Mercenary has some excellent essays on this: see http://randomthoughtsandguns.blogspot.com/2011/09/unrestricted-warfare.html), and it is not far fetched to see the Israelis backing whatever movement will be more likely to support their interests after all is said and done.
The political left (even their own leftists) is very much against their interests.
