Steve Forbes predicts a return to the Gold Standard within 5 years, here.
Any such return, if designed by our current Political/Bankster Classes, will build-in mechanisms for manipulation and the problems will not go away.
If a return to a Gold Standard is brought about by a collapse or implosion, it is likely to be a "real" Gold Standard.
Be wary of anything done by our current Masters.
