Kerodin.com: Impeachment & Assassination
We explore the connection between Impeachment & Assassination.
Impeachment means that one is politically dead, and has the benefit of allowing the accused a proper defense. It is a tool the III must use in the coming months as we take the fight for Restoration to our enemies.
And they are Enemies. They are not politicians or Citizens with legitimate political differences of opinion.
They are Treasonous genetic garbage and deserve the fate of Traitors.
Benjamin Franklin gave us the civilized form of assassination: Impeachment.

The author of that article (http://www.minnesotalawreview.org/content/impeachment-and-assassination) makes some good points, although he falls down here:
ReplyDelete"This Part argues that both John Wilkes Booth and Johnson’s Radical Republican opponents in Congress were using the correct substantive standard for removal, but both made mistaken judgments on the merits: neither Lincoln nor Johnson was, in fact, behaving tyrannically." He obviously does not know Lincoln beyond what we were all taught in grade (middle) school and high school.
I submit that Booth was in fact a Patriot, and acted appropriately for his time. Lincoln needed to be either impeached or assassinated. He was directly responsible for the deaths of all combatants and most civilians during and immediately after the War of Northern Aggression. There obviously was no way to work within the system then, and impeachment was impossible.
I call the Civil War our Revolution II - and Liberty lost.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Lincoln is the man who set us on the path we are on today. He has only one quote with which I agree, and I actually use it, but how Lincoln was able to utter the words without choking to death is beyond my understanding:
Our safety, our liberty, depends upon preserving the Constitution of the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts — not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. - Lincoln
The moment anyone (Glenn Beck) praises Lincoln, we know the true thinking in the brain...and it is not friendly to Liberty.
I also agree that in the environment after the Civil War Impeachment was a non-starter, much as it is likely to be today. The only way to be rid of Lincoln was a 2A remedy.
